The ancient Egyptians considered the scarab to be sacred, and used carved scarab images to convey ideas of transformation, renewal, and resurrection. These stones have often been used in charm bracelets to symbolize luck and fortune and are used in classic designs of jewelry and craft accessories. These scarab stones are carved out of genuine, natural Green Aventurine stone and have Egyptian symbols on the back, with the image of a carved scarab beetle on top. Each stone is a hand worked lapidary item, so natural variation in materials, cut and sizing may occur. No two are exactly the same, but that is also the charm of these stones.
