This Porsche's classic factory Lapis Blue paint has just been through our detail department for full cut and buff. Lapis is truly a unique color as it looks different depending on the amount of light on the car. Carfax shows an absolutely clean history with no accidents or damage whatsoever. The car is riding on a set of freshly refinished Carrera Sport Classic wheels wrapped in new Continental Extreme Contact tires. Chips in the original paint can be mostly found on the hood and front fenders and the front bumper has been recently repainted.
The Porsche's Graphite Gray Leather interior is a great compliment to the blue exterior and is all original. The German leather seats show better than most with few light scuffs or deep ware lines- a testament to how well this car has been cared for. The Porsche sport wheel is complimented by the factory optioned headrest crests and advanced tech package. The original radio has been replaced with a newer touchscreen unit. Everything works in the car.. lights, gauges, radio, seats, windows, locks, a/c blows ice cold, etc. The car will also include its original tool kit, spare, jack, and original books.
Mechanically, this Porsche is in great condition and runs and drives great. It feels tight and right and has the service to back it up! In 2009, at 40k miles, this car received a new engine at Porsche due to compression loss in one cylinder and metal in the oil filter. The dealer installed a new engine under their replacement program and utilized a 3.6 engine that has the larger single row & most robust 6305 IMS bearing (per engine # crossed referenced w/ factory replacement catalog). Finished in GT Silver Metallic over a Porsche Special-Wishes custom ordered two-tone Black and StoneGrey interior. This example ordered with an original sticker price of over 8k with a limited-slip diff, Parking Assist System, SportChrono Turbo Pack, thicker leather steering wheel, illuminated door sill guards, and Adaptive Sport Seats with Porsche crested headrests. In addition to these desirable factory options, this 997 has been upgraded with a full custom sound system, professionally integrated to look like a factory system. 1000+ watt JL Audio & Focal Stereo system was installed at a cost of approximately k including an Android Auto touchscreen head unit & dual 10" JL Audio subwoofers in custom enclosures mounted in place of the rear seats. The subwoofers are easily interchangeable with the original rear seat cushions, which are included with the car.
Originally ordered with many Porsche options along with a StoneGray colored power-retractable cabriolet top. A garage kept car from the previous owner. Suntek paint protection film preserves the full front end, mirror covers, and rear fender flares, installed in 2018.
Factory 19 Turbo wheels with colored Porsche crests. Michelin Pilot Sport tires, mounted in May of 2018 with ONLY 600 miles on them.
Inside, this Turbo was tastefully appointed with a two-tone Black and StoneGrey interior featuring heated Adaptive Sport Seats with Exclusive Porsche crest headrests. Other options include Porsche optioned silver painted center console and accent trim.
In addition to these desirable factory options, mechanically, this 997 has also been upgraded with EVOMS 550 engine software and a Stage 2 clutch for enhanced power output and drivability. The tune and clutch were installed at 32,400 miles along with new diverter valves and spark plugs. A full service and inspection were also just recently completed by Mcilvain Motors at 35,950 miles.
CARFAX shows a rear-end incident occurred in 2011, the previous owner had an inspection carried out at the time of their purchase in 2015 which found no structural damage or repair, with only the rear bumper cover to have been refinished with no other signs of damage. We have also been able to verify this as the bumper is all that was damaged and the complete bumper cover was replaced.
As you also see, this sale will include a set of two keys, owners manuals, and a clean title.
