The only ostomy protector with a watertight vacuum seal, this waterproof protector fits snug yet comfortable during a shower, a bath and even an active swim. Unlike garbage bag products, the patented vacuum sealed product cannot come off. Made of high quality surgical latex, it is both durable and re-usable and are guaranteed for a year. After having put on the ostomy protector, the pump sucks out the air so that the ostomy protector cannot come off and more importantly: the ostomy pouch stays completely dry and secure.
    Choosing sizes:
Measure around the circumference at the Stoma or around the waist area. Make sure it will fit snug and flush around the skin. If you are between sizes, we recommend opting for the smaller size as the material used in the ostomy protector has a lot of give. Please choose carefully- for health reasons we cannot allow returns or exchanges.
A word from the manufacturer "rule of thumb: the best fit is within 2 inches of the navel. The best fit needs to have as smooth a surface as possible, consequently scaring can be an issue."
    Ostomy covers for G-Tube Protection:
The ostomy cover has many uses and depending on the body shape and position of the G-tube, DryPro's waterproof cover can be used to effectively protect a G-tube. Be sure to read all sizing notes before ordering.

    To use your Ostomy Protector:
    Step 1: Simply Slide On
slide on the ostomy. Stretch the protector over the ostomy or stoma until the site is completely covered, with at least an additional inch on either side. The top and bottom opening should be smooth and snug against the skin.
    Step 2: Pump Out
Slide the protector over the body until the site is completely covered. The Dry Pro should fit snug and comfortable on the body. The opening should be flush against the skin. Continuously press the pump until it becomes flat. Remove the pump and push on the safety cap. After you pump out the air, observe the protector for five minutes to make sure it remains wrinkled and completely sealed.
Step 3: See and Feel the seal™
Slide off- When you are finished using, simply lift up the cuff to let the air back in. The Dry Pro should now be loose. Simply slide it back off. The Dry Pro can be rinsed or cleaned with soap and water.
    Notes:
Do not leave the DRYPro on for extended periods of time. We recommend removing it after every 45 minutes of use. Do not use in vascular compromised patients. Steady yourself in wet slippery areas. Always follow your doctor's advice.
